Rencher Industries does its best to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers. All Rencher Industries products carry a limited, non-transferrable warranty. BNC Cables, power supplies, and products that use consumer components (including but not limited: to USB connectors, DC barrels, etc.) carry a 90-day warranty on manufacturing defects.
When Rencher Industries evaluates coaxial cables for damage, we look to see if there is a break in the inner conductor, or if there is a solder or crimp connection that has failed. The latter cause of failure is usually covered under warranty. We thoroughly test all cables for these types of failures before they ship to rule out manufacturing defects.
A break in the inner conductor of the BNC, where the cable meets the connector, is the most common type of cable failure. Conductor breakage is usually caused by exceeding a cable's minimum bend radius (like bending the cable at a sharp 90+ degree angle where it exits the connector). This kind of break is not normally covered under warranty because it is considered misuse of the cable.
Generally, BNC cable repairs are costlier than purchasing new cables, so we recommend replacing BNC cables as opposed to repairing them. However, if you would like to get a quote for repairs, please open a support ticket with us.
